It is a relief for us at Wellsford Dental to be able to get back to providing all our patients with our full services. We have missed you and we are excited to be able to help you again by providing you with the best dental experience in the area.
We continue to do so with the utmost care for you, and our team is always working hard to keep you safe and healthy, as we continue to follow stringent protocols. It means doing some things differently, but we do this with your welfare in mind. And even though we may look a little different at your next visit, we are still the same team ready to give you the best patient experience ever!
At Alert 2, Wellsford Dental is allowed to operate as normal but with a few extra precautions put in place as advised by the Ministry of Health and adhering to social distancing.
- We will be asking the routine COVID-19 triage questions when making your appointment, similarly for a support person that may be attending with you. Only one support person per patient is allowed.
- Once you have arrived for your appointment, advise us by phone that you have arrived. We ask that you wait outside of the practice area where possible. If this is not possible please make our receptionist aware.
- The receptionist will advise you when you can move to reception, please come alone, unless assistance is required or you have a young child.
- Please maintain social distancing in reception and whilst moving around the practice.
Over the next few days, you might receive a text message or email reminding you that your comprehensive dental exam and/or hygiene is due. These are very important for you to keep, waiting longer between appointments can put you at greater risk of many types of gum diseases, tooth decay, and heart disease. These visits allow us to detect more serious issues early on when they are easiest to treat. If left untreated, minor oral issues can manifest into larger problems, and can lead to costly and more extensive treatments and procedures.
