DEBBIE HUIJSMANS
Debbie is a fully qualified Dental Nurse originally from the UK. She is our Head Dental Nurse and assists our dentists in the day-to-day provision of exceptional dental care, and she is responsible for the ongoing training and development of the nursing team here at Wellsford Dental.

She is an organised multi-tasker which enables her to help run the usy surgeries efficiently. Debbie is responsible for a very important part of our practice, keeping up to date with, and ensuring we are always exceeding the New Zealand Dental Council infection control and decontamination protocols.
Debbie is a Reiki master and a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, bringing great empathy and engagement with our patients. She always has a warm smile on her face and ensures that you are comfortable while undergoing treatments. She loves coming to work and seeing the team every day, and watching her patients gain confidence through their dental care.
When she is not busy at work, Debbie really enjoys upcycling old pieces of furniture, reading, tending to her clowder of cats, and spending time with friends and family.
